FLOORSCREEDING

How it works

From first quote to finished floor.

A clear, predictable five-step process so you always know what's happening, who's on site, and when the next trade can come in.

  1. Step 1

    Survey & quote

Send us your project details and we'll send a clear, fixed quote — no jargon, no surprises.

  2. Step 2

    Prep the sub-floor

Clean, level and lay membrane and edge insulation so the screed bonds and cures properly.

  3. Step 3

    Pour & screed

Pumped or hand-laid to the specified depth, with laser levels checked across the whole pour.

  4. Step 4

    Cure & dry

Controlled cure with the right protection — we tell you exactly when each trade can return.

  5. Step 5

    Hand back a flat floor

Snag walk, area swept, ready for tilers, joiners or finished floor coverings.

Standards

What 'finished' actually means.

Every screed we lay is checked to SR2 finish as standard (SR1 on request), meaning a maximum deviation of ±5mm under a 2m straightedge. We laser-check the pour while it's still workable, not after.

Edge insulation, polythene membrane and crack-control mesh are specified to the pour and the sub-floor — never one-size-fits-all. We dry-test the slab before walking on, and we tell you the exact day each follow-on trade can come back.
