    Prep the sub-floor

    Clean, level and lay membrane and edge insulation so the screed bonds and cures properly.

  3. Step 3

    Pour & screed

    Pumped or hand-laid to the specified depth, with laser levels checked across the whole pour.

  4. Step 4

    Cure & dry

    Controlled cure with the right protection — we tell you exactly when each trade can return.

  5. Step 5

    Hand back a flat floor

    Snag walk, area swept, ready for tilers, joiners or finished floor coverings.

FAQ

Common screeding questions.

Liquid (flowing) screed is pumped in and self-levels, giving a very flat surface fast and wrapping perfectly around underfloor heating. Traditional sand and cement screed is hand-laid and takes longer to install and dry but is well-suited to smaller pours and patches.
